The CubeSat Bus
In order to increase the chances of a sucessful mission, our team has investigated both COTS and open source cubesat BUS options.
The OreSat project is open source with flight heritage, it was designed for modularity so each PCB is an independent subsystem. This design is highly extensible with various custom payloads.
The Payload
We will build and launch a 2U Earth observational satellite to provide a liverstream Earth from Orbit
Currently the ISS provides a livestream from LEO, however it constantly suffers from outage period, poor framing, and even pixel data corruption.

The Ground Infrastructure
To support the low-power, high-bandwidth satellite communications required to achieve as close to a live video feed from low Earth orbit as possible, our team is developing a 2-axis (elevation over azimuth, overhead flip) radar positioner which will support equipment for UHF and S-Band applications.
